Buxus Blight Control
Buxus Blight
Buxus Blight
Buxus blight is a fungal disease that causes leaves to brown off and die. It is caused by two types of closely related fungus, Calonectria pseudonaviculata and Calonectria henricotiae which are most active during prolonged wet periods. However, it has the ability to strike at any time, especially in New Zealand's maritime climate. Add in the humidity often found in the Waikato and this pesky disease can cause a lot of trouble. Luckily, with good hygeine, correct treatments and feeding, with a little Revellio know how added in, the fungus can be cotrolled and the plant's health restored.
